I’ve been a member with invoice maker for quite a while now, and they first started off with just being very basic which I honestly really liked. It was very easy to use. Since then it’s growing a lot more features have been added and it’s still continues just to be easy to use. Very simple for my customers to be able to receive them through text message and email with signatures. Highly recommend for small business professionals.
It was a good app, but they want to charge me more for an update when I paid 3 months ago, and today they want me to pay 150 more. I think they had to do that at the time of renewal.
I have been using this app for many years, through all the increased prices and have one technical issue which they choose to just read my messages and blame technical issues on me. If an invoice is not paid and you need to send it again, you will be blocked from sending it. Not for someone who has to send multiple bills to the same email address apparently. When I ask If this issue can be resolved they just ignore my message so good luck.
It says contracts but I can not find that option on the app? So where can I find the contract section

I have been with invoice simple for many years. When there was basically nothing on the app. Slowly but surely they’ve become a great invoice tool. It’s exactly what it says- invoice simple. I love it. I have run a lot of money through this system and I’m thankful it’s user friendly. I may run successful businesses but I sure don’t want to hire an accountant to do something I can simply do myself. Keep up the good job

I’ve been using it now for about three years and it’s really practical with mobile devices and having PayPal tied in with it to be able to accept credit cards is really cool even though you do have to pay fees. The report section works well for end of your taxes, and the deductions and scanning receipts is really practical and keeps it all in one place. Also, you can login directly from any device on the Internet to access your account which is super practical versus being just trapped on your mobile device. I’ve only had to deal with customer support once and they were very quick and efficient.
Costumer service is too lazy I talking to them but they no find my trouble I have to plans and paid for both or they no said anything about my error ..costumer service online is too BAD they never resolve they give idea for we resolve we paid for 2 premiums service but they no have Phone SERVICE Costumer service online is NO GOOD they sent process but my Invoice no send is return back like ERROR

Looking for another Invoice APP price increased drastically from $23 a year to $200 a year this is ridiculous.
$6.99 a month allows you to make three invoices per month. Two dollars an invoice is insane. These people should be ashamed of themselves.
There have been yearly (or more often) price increases and now they are increasing from my current price on mobile for unlimited invoices at $45usd to $200usd to maintain unlimited invoicing. A 400% increase is just a start and as often as they raise prices this seems like a bad bad move. Be warned about price increases. As far as the app it works fine.
For the price they’re now making an update that you can only do 10 invoice a month! Unless you pay for premium that’s double
There needs to be an option where we can add a debit card to subscribe or upgrade in the app please I’ve been using this for 5+ years in addition please start to offer customer finance services
I tried using the estimates function to send quotes before invoicing, and it’s a cọmplete mess. Numbers don’t calculate right, discounts get dropped, and converting to invoice just duplicates everything. 😮💨 I’ve had clients call me confused because they got two totally different totals for the same job. That’s not how you build trust in a business relationship. Plus, formatting is inconsistent—looks different on desktop and mobile. The idea behind this feature is solid, but the execution? Total failure. I might as well go back to sending PDFs manually. This app creates more work than it saves.
The dashboard is an absolute mess. You’d think it would show key metrics at a glance—outstanding invoices, top clients, month-to-date incọme. Nope. Instead, it’s just cluttered boxes and graphs that don’t even update correctly. 🧱 Half the time, the totals are wrong, and the layout changes after every update. It’s like they’re trying to confuse you. I don’t need flashy visuals—I need a clean, reliable summary of my business data. Whoever designed this clearly doesn’t use it for actual work. Give me something useful or give me a refund. Not here for this chaos.
Multiple clients have told me their invoices ended up in spam. I tested it myself—same result. 📬 This is a professional tool, and the fact that your emails aren’t authenticated properly is mind-blowing. You’re literally killing my cash flow. I shouldn't have to follow up to make sure someone even got the invoice.
There’s no way to manually back up your data or export it safely. If their servers go down, you’re just outta luck. 🧨 I expected at least CSV export or some control over my records. But nope—you're locked in their ecosystem. Not cool for anyone trying to manage sensitive financial info responsibly.

I work internationally and this app doesn’t let me change the default currency for different clients. Are you kidding me? 🌍 I’ve lost deals because the invoice shows the wrong currency symbol and there’s no way to fix it per client. The one-size-fits-all logic makes no sense in today’s global market. Unusable for anyone outside the US.

There’s no efficient way to store or manage frequently used products or services. Every time I make an invoice, I have to retype the same items. 🤬 A basic item library is industry standard. Even free tools have that. This app just isn’t built for professionals who do high-volume invoicing. Wasted so much time on repetitive input.
Customer support? More like customer ghosting. I submitted two tickets, waited six days—nothing. 😑 No confirmation, no reply, no fix. When I finally got someone, they gave me a canned answer that didn’t even relate to my issue. If you're gonna charge people monthly, maybe actually offer help when things break. Total joke.
Exported PDF invoices look nothing like they do in the preview. Layout breaks, margins shift, text overlaps—total embarrassment. 📉 How am I supposed to send this to a client? I’ve had to redo entire invoices outside the app just to get them to look decent. It’s 2025—PDF export should be a solved problem by now; Clearly, not here.
Once you send an invoice, you’re locked out; Client wants a small change? Too bad—you have to void and start over. 😒 That makes me look sloppy and unprofessional. Just let us edit and resend, it’s not rocket science. This is supposed to be a flexible invoicing tool, but it’s clunky and rigid. Feels like I’m using software from 2005.
One of the main reasons I got this app was to generate reports for tax season and monthly overviews. But the reports are so badly designed, I still end up dumping everything into Excel and doing it manually. They don’t filter right, half the totals are wrong, and nothing exports cleanly. 😬 Also, why does the app crash when I try to generate an annual summary? That’s not a bonus feature—that’s core accounting. These devs have no clue.
Templates are trash Your so-called "custom templates" are a joke. I can't change half the stuff I want, the fonts look like they're from 2002, and the layout is painfully generic. This is supposed to represent my brand, and you give me three bland options and no real way to tweak them. 🤢 Also, the logo gets resized weirdly and half the time it’s pixelated. I tried reaching out about it—radio silence. This app looks like something from the stone age.
You guys seriously think I’m gonna pay those fees just to collect money I already earned? The payment processing inside this app is a ripoff, plain and simple. Every time a client pays with a card, a chunk gets taken, and I’m left with less than expected. 😡 Why can’t I link my own Stripe or PayPal account? Instead, I’m forced into your high-fee nonsense. Transparency? Nonexistent. This app isn’t helping my bottom line—it's hurting it. Might as well go back to Excel.

I’ve been using this app since 2018, it’s really a great app. I just don’t have a huge volume of clients who request invoices, so I’m really only sending between 3 and 9 invoices per year. The price was affordable in 2018, but it’s increased tenfold since and I’m now looking for another invoice app. If you have high volume of clients needing invoices then this app is right for you. But if you’re like me only sending 3 to 9 per year then it’s probably better to just make a word document.
They make it almost impossible to cancel your subscription. It didn’t even show that I had an active subscription in the app. And there was no way to cancel through the app. I had to cancel on the website. I tried to delete my account and they forced me to contact support. Then once I finally canceled my subscription they still wouldn’t let me delete my account
I cannot believe this app has this many reviews and these many 5 star ratings. I’m a 6 or 7 years old costumer and are yet to fix any of the issues I’ve been complaining about. The only thing they do is upgrade how much you pay yearly. Extremely disappointed customer.

Was trying to attach a pdf of a materials estimate to my estimate and went to support for how to do that. They made me re-up my subscription before they told me that they are working on that feature. I remembered that I asked about this a couple years ago and was told that they working on it then. Years later and they can’t write a few lines of code but can jack up the price and charge for features that were there before. Will be looking for a new app now.
It’s been 3 business days and I can’t get help from anyone that works for this app. I keep getting the runaround and I’m a paying customer. It’s insane. I’m out here begging them to help me and I get nothing. Absolutely nothing. It’s my business invoices and I’m a paying customer and I have to beg them to help and I’m not getting it. No customer 1800 numbers just all emails. 3 business days and not help!!
I used this app for 4 years but recently the glitches have gotten terrible. They used to have great service where you could chat with someone and address issues. Now its just an IA bot that cant understand my question. Just wasted $70
Great Invoice software I have used. Simple to use and the updates they have made to it the past year have been absolutely amazing. Takes all the thinking out of it. If you’re a small business owner in the trades you should definitely use this.
I had already paid my normal monthly fee and they blocked my application, so they could charge me for another monthly fee. Now they have me paying 2 monthly fees for the same use, without giving me any option or explanation. The bad thing is that my clients' records are there and I couldn't make any more receipts if I didn't pay the new amount that they decided to put and that a few months ago they had raised the price. Now I'm migrating to another more reliable platform.
App is not transparent on pricing when signing up. Waste a lot of time using it before getting hit with hefty monthly fee.

Please do yourselves a favor and choose another app for your invoice necessities. This app raised the monthly premium on me 6 times in 2 years. I chose to eventually discontinue services because what’s too much is too much. The 6th time they raised the premium, not only was it a higher price, but they limited my invoices to only 10 a month! Their customer service representatives are absolutely horrendous. Don’t waste your money on this app.
Before I’d have to go back to the office and try to remember all the invoice information for the client. I’d forget a lot or just not fill out the invoice. But now I carry my ipad with me and every time I came easy ,ale and send an invoice in seconds for my client.
They updated premium and added features. I was a premium member and did not receive these features. I paid the price for these features, but wasn’t able to use them unless I paid for premium again. This would be the second time I payed $40 for 1 month due to an update! They claim you will get refunded but I never received a refund!
ACH bank transactions are supposed to be 1% with a max of $15. They tried to scam our customers into paying hundreds of dollars & added it onto the invoice we sent!! THEN I contacted customer service and they said they fixed it. NOPE. They continued to try to charge our customers ridiculous amounts! I contacted them again and they (NIGEL) won’t respond to any of my messages to fix this. I’ve sent multiple messages through their app and emails and they won’t respond. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! BEWARE!!
Unless you get the premium, the limit for invoices is now 10 per month. The premium price is only $20 per month before taxes. My issue isn’t with the price, my issue is that before you were able to send as many invoices per month no matter the tier. Also, why add 3 different tiers for sending invoices ? This is ridiculously greedy. I’ve been using this app for a few years but I’m switching. Before we know it, they’ll start charging per invoice, and lock features to different price tiers. Oh wait, they already lock features. What a shame. This app had potential.
